The photowalk this morning was a fabulous success! A great group of people somehow managed to find Panera in Uptown, proceeded to find the hot coffee and tasty treats, and from there did a great job of pretending like they totally knew it was so *not* gonna rain the few hours we were out shooting.
Big props to the person who made the phonecalls and worked a few favors to bring in the accomodating weather.
Lots of great pics came out of this photowalk. As usual I'll release them upon the world in their own time, but this first one is the only shot I really had planned for the day. I'd like to say that I totally planned the massive firetruck pulling up and parking itself in front of the large group of people all armed with cameras, but even I didn't rock the favors to make that happen. The firemen were peculiarly nice and let us take *tons* of picture of their, um, huh huh, equipment without putting up any kind of a fuss.
Let's do this again sometime!
