So long, thanks for all the fish

My beloved Nikon D70 just walked out the front door with its new owner *sniffle*. The last couple years have been super duper with my little partner in crime but it's time to move on to bigger and badder things.

So before I tell you all about the new camera let's just take this opportunity to admire one of the last photos I took with it. Little baby Danika is getting all grow'd up and had a baptism on Sunday. This is one of the last shots of the day, and one of my faves. It really is just so her.

Now, the exciting news!! I bought a new camera this weekend ... and ... it's ... a ... NIKON D300! EEeeeeEEeEeE!!! I truly can't say enough about this camera ... but may try since I prolly won't be able to shut up about the thing when I get it in my clutches Thursday. You know what it isn't? It's not a hot tranny mess. But it is fierce. Waaaaayyyyyy fierce.

Okay okay, so another day of patiently waiting. Or as patient as humanly possible. More info soon!

(Um, erm ... I might've also gotten some new glass as well!)
