Lovely surprises

So, I have a confession to make. Every once in a while I'll be processing photos and will come across something that makes me go, "Hmm, yeah that one's kind've okay." And only a click later it's sitting in my special "queue" folder.

My 'queue' folder is my backup folder for, you know, those nights I get home at 2 a.m. and don't have the energy to choose and process a photo for you guys. Or for the more glamorous reason of wanting to be in bed by 9 pm cuz it's been a long, hard workday. Some photos make it out of the secret squirrel queue folder to see the light of days. More don't than do I'm sad to report.

Today's photo was stashed away in my queue for so long I can't even remember taking or processing it. In fact, if it weren't in my queue folder I'd probably even tell you that someone else took this photo.

(Remembering stuff is all hard 'n stuff.)

It's actually surprising to me I hadn't posted this earlier --- it makes me smile. I love this photo a whole bunch.
