While this isn't a particularly spectacular photograph, it's what I wanted to post tonight because I'm going to do something I do so rarely around here anymore: share something about my personal life.
A couple months ago I left a job with some of my most favorite people in the world to take a job at Game Informer Magazine. And lemme tell you what: I feel like I won the job lottery. I mean, if I could travel back in time and tell my 12 year old self she'd grow up to one day be a designing, programming badass at a video game magazine?!? Holy shit! And while I was at it I would also tell her to play more video games, because, despite what they say good can come of it!
October's issue hit my desk today and I'm so, so proud of it. The writers, managers, designers, production team are all rockstars and brought you some amazing content. And while this print issue is sexy as hell (you should smell it, mmm magazine! plus I even designed a few pages in it!) you know I have massive love for all things digital and recommend you check out the ipad version. Beautiful, interactive awesomeness.
That's right, I just called Mario beautiful. Only dude with a stache I was a fan of.
Being an adult rocks.
You can read more information about October's issue here. And unless you're coming over to my house soon you probably won't catch the print version until it appears on newsstands sometime next week.
